Game Critics Awards - Spore a BIG Winner!

At the Game Critics Awards this year, Spore won the most awards!  I don't think this is at all surprising because its such an awesome and novel idea.  Here are the awards Spore won:

• Best Original Game:  Well yeah, we all knew that! ;)  They say the reason for best original game is because of the scope of the game. You start with a spore,  create a civilization and then conquer other galaxies.
• Best PC Game: An easy call for best PC game.  'Nuff said.
• Best Simulation Game:  Will Wright is the master of simulation games... I'm willing to bet he coined the term with all his SimGames.

Go Spore!!  We anxiously wait for it to be released.  I hope you are all keeping yourselves busy until it is!

There's now a petition going around asking EA games for a public beta of the creature editor.
I figured you would want to put it on your site, to let people know & sign. I know I really want a creature editor, sooner than 2007.

It'd be great for this petition to get around and get signed, then to hopefully influence EA to give us a creature editor beta, the game would stay alive in alot of peoples minds, and possibly help traffic to your site.
